    is a fresh-water swamp forest which is located at Goainghat in Sylhet of Bangladesh.It is situated by the river of Goain .It is a swathe of wetlands with aquatic vegetation and plants of which are tolerant to periodical inundation. The only of its kind Ratargul is a naturally-grown fresh water swamp forest in Bangladesh except Tanguar haor. It goes under water flowing from the river Goain during monsoon, and remains under at least 10 feet of water at other times of the year. A journey from Goainghat upazilla by a small boat through the forest one can experience with infested snakes, monkeys, lizards etc.
